The best online chess app in the app store period! Updating my review, there are some major glitches with this app now I dont know what happend it work for about a week. WOW where do I start, now when I try to promote a pawn to a queen the app just shuts down sometimes when you are playing a game it boots you out of the game back to the players online list when you find your name it shows that your still playing the game and of wont let you back into the game and then when you log out of the program and then log back in your rateing has drop. And last but not least if you are going to market this game to Americans you should have and English verson of your web page, to explain when you set up an account whitch consist of your user name and your pass word they email you conformation you hit the link to there web page to confirm when the web page opens you cant read it, its in another language. Once you hit the link it automatically signs you up. Fix these isuues and the game would be fine.

I have most chess games out there, and this one is the second-best, in my opinion, just below Versus Chess. However, the potential exists fir this to easily be the best, if they just fix the bugs and more clearly display your and your opponents rating, and how your rating changed after each game. You can always find players with Bereg because youre playing people who are on the Bereg server on their computer. You can also modify game length, something you cant do with Versus Chess.

Please fix time issue! Still same thing after upgrade. July 4-th 2009. Doesnt show your correct time... Was playing, and at the end of the game I still had like 35 sec left, and my opponent none, but somehow I lost by time... Please fix it. You can watch other players game (online), chat, you have your own rating, server is fast, I have an iPhone edge, no problem with the connection at all. Highly recomend.

I wasnt expecting much but this is a nice surprise. Lots of players online, unlike versus chess. But I got drop connection several times and when that happen I seem to reconnect immediately but cannot get back to my previous game. Hope they can fix this. Versus chess on the other hand never have connection problem.. but noone there..

When Im ready to play a game, I want to start NOW. Bereg Chess makes it difficult to start a game, probably because the other players are mostly playing from PCs and not really paying attention to the game. When I select a player to challenge, the name sits in my queue for a long time before starting (and sometimes, the player quits before the game starts). In one attempt, I waiting ten minutes with 20 challenges waiting to be accepted; none were.

There is lot of players online, I was able to start playing in a several seconds after starting the app. Some players dont answer to invitations however, I guess they have a kind of club and play only with each other. But there is a lot of unregistered novice players like myself, so as I said there is no problem find somebody who is willing to play. Have not got any connection problems as well, as I see other people experienced them while playing. Perhaps they have fixed those bugs)) I can recommend this app to all who is bored playing chess with computer. You can even chat while playing here. In opinion this app 100% worth its money.

This app used to be free & now they charge for it? It was terrible when it was free & still terrible now! A "clique" seems to exist on this site where people seem to only play each other so it is hard to get a game. Not impossible. Just takes longer. I have experienced a large amount of cheating (compared to other sites I play at). I know this because I record my games for review later to improve my "real" over the board tournament play. Computer engines are obviously used by some players on the site. Overall, dont buy it. I had it when it was free & got bored with it. Try another app to play with opponents. You will be happier.
